Deactivating Gaston during a carrier change

If you’re changing mobile operators, the best practice is to temporarily deactivate Gaston while your new SIM / number portability is being processed.

Recommended flow

  1. Deactivate Gaston before the switch.
  2. Wait until the new SIM (or portability) is fully active.
  3. Reactivate Gaston on the new operator’s SIM.
