Deactivating Gaston during a carrier change
If you’re changing mobile operators, the best practice is to temporarily deactivate Gaston while your new SIM / number portability is being processed.
Recommended flow
- Deactivate Gaston before the switch.
- Wait until the new SIM (or portability) is fully active.
- Reactivate Gaston on the new operator’s SIM.
